OUR STORY

MOD Productions began in NYC in 2016 as MOD Theatre Company.  As a group of artists, we wanted to create an environment where the best idea wins, no matter where it comes from.  We recognized the diverse experiences that our company members had, the breadth of interests and causes they each were involved in, and the mastery each person offered in various aspects of the arts and entertainment.  Because of this, we were able to draw on different members expertise at various stages of each production, collaborating and allowing growth for all involved, ensuring that the best idea won.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began and closed down our beloved theaters, MOD Theatre Company realized that this community of artists needed to expand from strictly theatrical pursuits and include film and television.  And thus, MOD-A Production Company was born.
